In the last month Jon Cossu, a.k.a. Jonny Preston, DogSauver, DogSauverGlobal, DogSauverGhana, DogSauverNYC, DogRescueKing, and many other aliases started a fundraiser with GoFundMe in November 2020, while he was under Cease & Desist Orders at the time, with the California state Attorney General.
Mr. Cossu has been in Ghana a month now, and raised $105,000 in his GoFundMe. He's proceeded to buy a total of 60 dogs. (Note, most real dog meat rescues DO NOT buy dogs from traders, they rescue them).
These dogs should have been immediately taken to a vet facility, to be medically vetted, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and quarantined. He has not done any of the sort. He's instead crammed them into an already existing shack, 60 dogs, closely quartered together, and has risked spreading disease and breeding puppies. without food or water. Certain numbers of of those dogs he has killed through neglect and abuse. He is also impersonated a vet the same as Marc Ching where he one dog ( medicated) footages to gain donation
In this time, 6 dogs have died due to neglect, and approximately 20+ dogs are missing. the remains dogs all need rescuing
On Cossu GO Fund he claims he has been working with it has been confirmed by Ghana SPCA they have never worked with him and are not involved with this scam.
Micheal Chour another co conspirator of Marc Ching is an animal abuser he and his charity the sounds of animals based in Cambodia. He staged fakes rescues and the dogs that they are using for scamming are abused neglected left without food or water or genuine veterinary treatment .
